Bliss, the special care baby charity, provides vital support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK. Founded 30 years ago, it offers guidance and information at a critical time in families' lives. It also fundsground-breaking research and campaigns for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born.
Lowton’s Charity Masquerade Ball organiser Diane Kempton has first hand experience of the vital work Bliss does after her friend’s daughter Abigail was born 15 weeks early. Diane says “I saw Abigail’s parents on an emotional rollercoaster as they watched their tiny baby fight off infections and cling to life. When they asked me to help raise money for Bliss, how could I refuse? Luckily Abigail’s story has a happy ending - please help us support Bliss so more babies can get their happy ending”.
